Nothing is more distracting than noise, it’s even more obvious when you really require silence.
I find that if I want to have some peace and quiet, it’s possible to get it in any environment. This may be done by the use of the mind, with some naturistic assistance.
The only method I have used to get peace and block the noise is going on YouTube and finding a recording of noise that I enjoy.
Yes I use noise to cancel noise, it is similar to using pain to ignore pain. The noise a I search for are recordings of :
Rain on a car or against a glass window, wind, storm and so on.
I definitely use this method when I would like to go to sleep and wake up feeling rested.
